Attendees showed great interest in InterLumi Panama at its presentation in Colombia
With constant promotional activities, InterLumi Panama, the most notable international lighting trade fair for Latin America & the Caribbean in this July, is now drawing more and more attention across the region.
A formal presentation to boost InterLumi’s recognition was held on 18th Feb at the Panamanian Embassy in Bogota, Colombia.
Setting a precedence for other trade shows and events in Panama, InterLumi was the first event the embassy promoted this year. The audience included representatives from mayor lighting product distributors and manufacturers from the country, such as Schreder, Philips, MY Electricos, the commercial director of Colombian Association of Lighting (ACDL), and several diplomats and special government guests.
Ms. Claudia Moreno Gongora, the Panamanian Commercial Aggregate working at the embassy, started as an emceeing. She gave a brief introduction for all speakers and stated some of the services the Embassy offers to entrepreneurs who want to establish businesses in the country first.
Then Ms. Maria Astrid Villa-Real, the Panamanian Ambassador in Colombia, spoke about the new possibilities for foreign companies to be able to participate on governmental bids to obtain public projects and other benefits and rewards the government offers to international investors.
Followed by, it was the speech of Colombian Association of Lighting (ACDL). Mr. Fernando Leal, Director of Commerce and Projects, introduced the main objectives of the association in support to InterLumi Panama 2016 and emphasized the importance of the event for the region.
Ms. Tirza Hidalgo, Project Manager of America Expo Group took the last speech place to introduce the company as an organizer for international trade fairs as well as the up-to-date progress of every detailed preparation work for the upcoming InterLumi Panama 2016. She also rewarded the audience with satisfactory answers to their frequently-asked-questions and eliminate some worries about the uncertainness of the first edition.
More than 60 audience attended this presentation and showed greater interest to participate in this significant event for the region’s lighting industry after this close communication with the organizer and various cooperating parties from relevant fields.
