Share your opinion about InterLumi Panama, what do you think about this lighting trade fair?

Ana Hernández: Undoubtedly, InterLumi Panama is a new trade fair which provides Central American market with a space for lighting industry representatives to dialogue, and promote economic growth and efficient lighting culture. It should be noted that InterLumi is the first ever lighting platform in the region and it is only a matter of time to become a renowned and recognized event.

How would you comment on the lighting market in Latin American & Caribbean region?

Ana Hernández: The market is improving while products are upgrading. Consumers are demanding better quality products. This trend gives more confidence for investing in lighting industry.

This year, InterLumi is focusing more on energy efficiency and smart lighting. Not only the show but also the concurrent forum will discuss further in this regards. How do you like this?

Ana Hernández: I think the use of efficient energies and smart lighting makes a difference. Their usage requires a professional, objective, and somehow, common sense. Therefore, it is necessary to make consumers aware of the use of efficient lighting.

What would be your expectation on InterLumi Panama 2017 and your goals of participation?

Ana Hernández: Our expectations and objectives would be to make the Guatemalan Association of Lighting better known in the region. To strengthen links with the trade fair to promote it as regional platform gathering different lighting sectors, and to promote illumination culture.
