As a repeat exhibitor, what would be the main reason to participate InterLumi Panama again and double your booth size? Did you get a good feedback from the market in the past year?
John Steel: Urban Solar Panama Corp provides off grid solar LED lighting systems to Central America and the Caribbean countries, this is an important trade show to address these markets. As a result of last year’s show, and interest, we opened on office in Panama City.
Is there any impressive products or technologies you are going to bring and showcase at InterLumi Panama 2017?
John Steel: Yes. Our off grid solar lighting systems offer state of the art wireless communication capabilities to monitor battery performance and change lighting profiles.
How would you comment on the lighting market in Latin American & Caribbean region?John Steel: After visiting Central American countries and Caribbean Nations electricity is both expensive and unreliable in most sectors creating an increased demand year after year. Urban Solar Panama’s offering of clean, green, renewable energy technology provides the answer and we are excited about the future and helping various Government’s reach their goals of reducing their carbon footprint.
This year, InterLumi is focusing more on energy efficiency and smart lighting. Not only the show but also the concurrent forum will discuss further in this regards. How do you like this?
John Steel: It certainly is a very good starting point to open discussions regarding ways of reducing electrical costs while providing renewable energy alternatives.
What would be your expectation on InterLumi Panama 2017 and your goals of participation?John Steel: As in each market we enter, InterLumi provides the avenue to promote our products for transit, pathway, parking lot, street lighting and security lighting solutions to attendees from governments to private stakeholders.
