Panama $30 Million for Social Infrastructure

The government has announced that with a loan from the IADB, it will remodel and build comprehensive child care centers in different areas of the country.

The $30 million is part of a $50 million loan from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), which will be managed by the Ministry of Social Development and will be aimed at improving the infrastructure of health centers and modernizing the institution, said Minister Alcibíades Vásquez. reports that "... in the case of early childhood, $30 million will be used to remodel and build comprehensive care centers in the country ... and to improve services for children under 5 years of age."
